BSM is the sole supplier of fuels in Brunei Darussalam. Available fuels in Brunei are Shell V-Power Gasoline, Shell Premium, Shell Super, Shell Regular, Shell V-Power Diesel and Shell Diesel.
Fuels are transported by our fleet of road tankers round the clock, to Shell Retail stations and our B2B (Business-To-Business) customers in meeting the daily fuel demand.
Quality Fuels
Premium Unleaded (ULG) has the highest octane rating of 97 RON and is a better performing fuel. No lead has been added and a different refining process is used, involving better and higher octane components. ULG gives a high performance and is an environmentally friendly fuel, ULG is also a cleaner burning fuel.
Super Unleaded has an octane rating of RON 92. No lead has been added and a different refining process is used, involving better and higher octane components.
Regular Unleaded has an octane rating of 85 RON and is used by lower octane level cars. It is also used in lawnmowers and two-stroke outboard engines.
Diesel is the fuel used by diesel engines such as in trucks, buses, vehicles and marine vessels.
Kerosene is commonly used as a heating fuel. In Brunei, kerosene is subsidized product, which widely used in the bricks factory for bricks’ burning and heating. Some uses it for cooking fuel and kerosene lamps.
