Earlier this morning, a live emergency exercise was conducted at Shahryza Retail Station at Bunut by Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) in collaboration with Brunei Government emergency response team (Fire and Rescue Department, Emergency Medical Ambulance Services Brunei Darussalam & The Royal Brunei Police Force) and also personnel from Shahryza Retail Station. The retail station was initially closed to allow for the live emergency exercise to be carried out but has now been reopened to resume normal operations.

The exercise was conducted as part of an integrated emergency preparedness to ensure retail stations comply to BSM’s processes during emergency situations. It also served as a refresher in ensuring that the whole team is well versed on their roles in the event of emergencies.

We remain committed to Safety in principle, and the safety of the people in retail stations and the community in the surrounding areas are very important to us. Only by working together, we can achieve Goal Zero.
