The World Remembrance Day is to remember the victims of road accidents that have caused injuries and fatalities. Yesterday, the Managing Director of Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM), Muhammad Norshafiee Dato Paduka Hj Abd Jalil virtual @bsm.shafiee attended a virtual Road Safety Forum led by the Brunei National Road Safety Council of Brunei Darussalam (MKKJR).

Four topics were presented during the forum where Director of Land Transport Department, Haji Rozaly Bin Haji Saidon presented Act for Brunei’s Low Speed Streets. While speakers from UNESCAP and MIROS both presented on Safer Cars for all and Improving Road Safety Globally and in the Asia Pacific Region. Dr. Hafini Bin Mahmud from UNISSA also shared views on road safety from an Islamic perspective.

The event concluded with a Tell Everyone Road Safety QR Hunt prize presentation. A total of 65 students participated and 26 students have successfully completed the activity over the given duration of one month. Congratulations to the winners!
