To show gratitude to fuel drivers, BSM Managing Director, Muhammad Norshafiee Dato Paduka Hj Abd Jalil and Head of Logistics, Bahri Suhaili, visited those who were delivering fuels at retail stations in Beribi and Delima.
They are BSM frontliners who continue to ensure mobility to the community, including healthcare professionals and volunteers, by showing up every time to deliver fuels at all retail stations and customers all over Brunei.
The engagement is also an opportunity to remind drivers to comply with Safe Process Discharge Procedure and Fatigue Management during the month of Ramadhan.

To officiate the first supply of transportation fuels, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Gantry Yard Western Tank Farm in Pulau Muara Besar.
Cutting the ribbons were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and second Minister of Finance and Economy; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mat Suny bin Hj Md Hussein, Minister of Energy; Her Excellency Yu Hong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam; Mr Chen Lian Cai, Chief Executive Officer of Hengyi Industries; and Muhammad Norshafiee bin Dato Paduka Hj Abd Jalil, Managing Director of Brunei Shell Marketing Co Sdn Bhd (BSM). This is part of the commercial agreement signed on 18 September 2019 between BSM and Hengyi Industries to supply refined fuel products to BSM for domestic market distribution. This marks a new milestone for Brunei's downstream industry with the extension of the domestic oil and gas value chain.

As part of its annual Corporate activities, this afternoon, Brunei Shell Marketing (BSM) conducted its Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony.
31 staff participated in the event that took place both virtually as well as physically by minding social distancing.
Also participating in attendance was BSM’s Managing Director, Muhammad Norshafiee bin Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil.
Norshafiee thanked every participant at the ceremony for continuously showing up even during this unprecedented time.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Qunut Nazilah prayers to keep everyone safe from the current pandemic.
