50 UNDERPRIVILEGED PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS SMILED AND MORE…
During the month of Ramadhan and Syawal, we held a donation drive in efforts to put smiles on some 50 selected underprivileged primary school students in Temburong District.
Yesterday, the donations you have kindly contributed were handed over by BSM Managing Director, PgShamharyPg Dato Paduka Hj Mustapha and members of the leadership team at Mukim Bukok Community Hall in Kampong Rataie.
BSM also took the opportunity to celebrate Aidilftri with the students and their families as well as its stakeholders and business partners.
The event was made possible by the commitment and partnership between BSM and the Department of School (Cluster 1) under the Ministry of Education as well as Temburong District Office and the Rataie Village Council Consultative under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
There were a lot of challenges this year but we resolved all of that together. Awesome teamwork! Thank you so much for your contributions and thank you to the team that was present yesterday at the event!
BSM MANAGEMENT AND STAFF CONTRIBUTES TO IQRA ORPHANS AND SINGLE MOTHERS
A total of BND2200 in monetary value and other necessities were collected by BSM Management and Staff for 54 orphaned students and 29 single mothers at The Islamic Quran Readers Association, IQRA.
On behalf of BSM, the collected donations were handed over by MoraniMohiddin, BMB/1 on Wednesday, 22 May 2019 at IQRA Primary School in Manggis.
With this, we would like to thank BSM management and staff, as well as their families who has kindly contributed to IQRA’s sponsorship request. Your contributions are heartfelt and appreciated as it gives them the support they need in time to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Pada 1 Syawal, terdapat 18 buah stesen minyak yang akan beroperasi di stesen-stesen tertentu.
Pada 2 Syawal pula, 31 buah stesen minyak akan buka dan pada 3 Syawal stesen-stesen minyak akan mula beroperasi seperti biasa.
Rancang perjalanan Awda. Para Pelanggan dinasihatkan untuk membeli minyak lebih awal bagi memastikan keperluan minyak mencukupi.
Dengan ini, pihak BSM ingin mengucapkan selamat menikmati suasana Aidilfitri yang bakal menjelang.

Viral Message: Refueling full tank during hot weather
Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) wish to refer to a viral message that was circulated through WhatsApp in relation to a warning notice on "full tank caused explosion in hot temperature" that was allegedly issued by Pakistan State Oil (PSO). BSM would like to hereby confirm that the information being made viral is false and misleading.
BSM would like to clarify that the viral message is an old message that has been recirculated recently. The viral message that supposedly warned members of the public not to fill fuel tanks to the full capacity in the light of increasing temperature originated from Pakistan and was first made viral in 2016. Following the spread of the viral message, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) issued an official statement sayingthat its Company did not publish the message that went viral. In its statement, PSO maintains that filling fuel tank to its full capacity poses no threat of any kind to the cars or its passenger.
