BSM SEEKS BLESSINGS THROUGH MASS PRAYERS
On Thursday, 1 August 2019, BSM held a mass prayer to commemorate 60 years of its establishment in the country at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, Jalan Perdana Menteri.
It started with the Asar Prayers led by Imam Anuar Haji Salim, Mosque Affairs Officer from Mosque Affairs Department in the Brunei-Muara District. Followed by a religious talk entitled ‘Trust (Amanah) and Commitment in Working’. The talk is aimed to encourage staff to ensure they maintain the working etiquette and ethics of Honesty, Integrity and Respect of which BSM adheres to. Delivering the talk was Awang Haji Jufri Haji Hidup, Mosque Affairs Officer from Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque. It was then closed with a special doa written by the State Mufti Department read by the Imam.
Also present, the Acting Director at Ministry of Energy, Manpower and Industry, AwgAjmin Hj Meludin.
What made the event merrier was having the entire staff from cross departments to help with the event and gathering about 20 retirees as well as business partners supporting the event. This really meets the purpose of strengthening the relationship religiously and spiritually.
HIS MAJESTY’S RAMAH MESRA IN BELAIT AND BRUNEI-MUARA DISTRICTS
Brunei Shell Marketing (BSM) had the honour to come together with the Belait and Brunei-Muara District communities to meet and greet His Majesty on His 73rd Birthday.
In Belait District, the meet and greet event was held on Saturday, 20 July 2019 at the Municipal Field in Jalan Sultan where we showcased a remembrance of events in the audience of His Majesty throughout the years.
Meanwhile, in Brunei-Muara District, the session was held on Sunday, 28 July 2019, where we got the special chance to share up close our ‘Fill Safe, Feel Safe’ campaign to His Majesty and the royal entourage. It was held at Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien Field.
His Majesty truly has the heart of the rakyat as he continues to listen to what his people are doing at ground level. Long Live His Majesty.
Present were the management team and staff from various departments as well as the team from Filterworks Production.
