Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) and Muara Port Company Sendirian. Berhad (MPC) signed an agreement for the supply of bunkering services on Monday, 21 September 2020. Signing on behalf of BSM, Hjh Rozalina Hj C A Mohamed, Sales & Marketing Manager and Suzelawati Hj Radin, Head of Commercial.

The MPC signatories were Mr. Zhong Kunyu, Director of Marketing & Business Development and Akmal Hanis Hj Jefri, Director of Strategic Management.

Present to witness the signing were representatives from MPC Shareholders, Mr. Lyu Guoli, CFO of Beibu Gulf Holding (HK) Co. Ltd and Johan Dato Paduka Dr. Hj Johar, Investment Manager atDarussalam Assets and Hj Hairul Radzi Shahri, BSM Supply & Distribution Manager.

Starting October 1, 2020, BSM shall commence operation supplying Marine Gas Oil (10PPM) to vessels calling at Muara Port via its own dedicated barge, Star 1. Star 1 will have a total capacityof 800 metric tonne.

This collaboration marks a huge milestone for the Port Industry in Brunei Darussalam where bunkering can be offered and further developed at Muara Port which will then contribute to the economy of Brunei Darussalam.
