Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad (BSM) organised donations to
a total of 52 underprivileged students in Temburong district on 17th June 2020. BSM donated
stationaries and other daily necessities with the support of Cluster 1, Department of Schools under the
Ministry of Education.

Leading the donation on behalf of BSM was Muhammad Norshafiee Dato Paduka Hj Abd Jalil, the
Managing Director of BSM.

“As we are unable to visit everyone or call everyone for a Hari Raya celebration. We are pleased that
we can visit a few of the recipients whose house is too far away from town, of course, keeping in mind
appropriate social distancing. We are proud to play a part in helping the underprivileged students in
Temburong as this also aligns in our commitment in fuelling Brunei’s future. We are also delighted to
have a strong public-private partnership with Cluster 1 Department of Schools for more than 5 years
now and we hope that this partnership will grow in the years to come”, said Muhammad Norshafiee.

The donation to underprivileged students in Temburong is carried out on an annual basis by BSM.
