OVER 700 JOINED HELIX@DISCOVER.BSB

Over 700 people of all ages participated in the third Walk-a-Hunt Helix@Discover.BSB organized by Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn. Bhd. It was held at the Taman Sir Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien and in conjunction with the 36th Anniversary of the Renaming of Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan.

The Walk-a-Hunt Helix@Discover.BSB was officially launched by the Guest of Honour, Awg Haji Nairul Anuar bin Hj Abdul Lahai, Chairman of the Brunei/Muara Municipal Board. Also present was Pg Hj Yasmin bin Pg Hj Mohamad, Managing Director of BSM. The event was fully supported by the Brunei/Muara Municial Board, Royal Brunei Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs and the Management of the Yayasan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

The event is part of the company's contribution to the community development, in line with its business principles. Over the year's, BSM has been involved in wide-variety of social and community activities to further promote the nation's sustainable development. As part of BSM Outreach Programme, proceeds from the event will be use to support the ongoing Occupational Therapy Programme currently be run at the Child Development Centre. The primary objective of the Outreach programme is to champion the development of our youth and the community as whole. Chocolates collected during the walk-a-hunt were also given out to the Smarter Brunei (Autism Spectrum Disorder Centre) and the Childrens' Ward at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.
